Conference Dinner

The conference dinner will take place on the evening of August 2nd, 2022 at Skansen, the world’s first open-air museum and zoo, located on the island of Djurgården in central Stockholm. 

The congress dinner will take place in Höglotet, a venue that combine a rustic and cozy experience with amazing food and dancing in a casual atmosphere. A variety of dining options will be provided as delegates are treated to a traditional Swedish smörgåsbord (a Swedish-style buffet).  

Skansen offers a unique combination of Swedish history and Nordic wildlife. Before, during and after the congress dinner, delegates will be able to tour the expansive grounds of Skansen, offering amazing views of Stockholm and traditional Swedish architecture. Delegates will also be encouraged to explore the Nordic animal exhibits during their visit to Skansen. This means that during the congress dinner, you can add a visit to the moose, reindeer, lynx, European bison, brown bear, and many more exhibits to your evening!

Dinner Schedule

17.00 – Entrance to Skansen opens for delegates
18.00 – Welcome drinks at Högloftet
19.00 – Dinner served
21.30 – DJ / Dancing in part of the venue 
Midnight – gala ends 

Dress code: Smart casual 

Directions

The venue is 3km away from the Waterfront Congress Centre, which is ~40min walking distance. Alternatively, you can take public transit (from the central station, take tram 7 towards Djugården Skansen.
